This is not just about this series. Fab four weren't as athletic but they never used to drop so many catches Ya, but just not india, even Australia have dropped loads of them. Also this is a valid point. Quote Harsha on air raised a serious question after Saini pulled out. Why it is happening only with India? Australian seamers were managed well right throughout the series and they played all games. A question perhaps everyone will be asking for sure. If you stop using your muscles suddenly for months and then try to go back to previous workload suddenly, you will breakdown. Imagine you are able to do 6 sets of 15Kg dumbells easy and then you suddenly stop it for 5 months and then when you start workout again, you try to do same 15Kgs 6 sets again. Not gonna happen. About time our players behave professionally and maintain their fitness. Only Bumrah can be excused since he was doing jhadu pocha at home for workout

Saini developed a 6 pack in the lockdown. Our players are really professional when it comes to fitness. All these guys are super fit. Something else is the issue. Ya the lack of fitness can't be taken as excuse, they played IPL for close to 2 months with world class facilities and coaches, how long do they need to get back to fitness. It is definitely something else, except jaddu and Shami who had external injuries, rest need to go back and introspect.

No point of being "super fit" when you can't play a single test series without getting injured

Even Shane Watson used to have 6 pack but he was as fragile as a glass dummy. There was something wrong since I've never seen Saini bowl so slow. He used to bowl around 145Kmph consistently and occasionally touch 150. Here he was touching 140 barely.
Assassins Creed
9 years back, we were in much worse conditions in AUS, has it always been 4 match series
AtheK
The last series was phenomenal and this series has been good too, if captain jee had held to champagne catch, aus might have been 5 down by now.

harsh1387
Nattu stepping up... He is a great find for us. Skills + attitude is very good. If not for IPL he wouldn't have gotten a chance to play for India and perform. Would be still playing Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament. And someone here was berating IPL [emoji23]So, we are again playing with 4 bowlers after selecting 5. This tour should be christened as Cursed Tour. Maybe bio bubble, been out of India for 4 months, coming straight after playing IPL which was after lockdown. Fitness level must have taken a hit. Actually Bumrah in one of the insta live sessions told that fast bowlers cant do much workout at home, coz they ahve to do ot of running. without access to grounds, they couldn't do much
Big Boss
Siraj bowling 129-130 with new ball. We should hope batsman step up and draw this match. Our depleted bowling attack doesn't look capable of taking 20 wickets.

Fielding is something that needed to step up.
