Got my plat today, I’ve beaten their previous games multiple times but never bothered with plat because of the “collectathon” trophies but this one was fairly easier and came naturally by just playing the game.

Some of the final level bosses were insane in NG+2.

Respecced to a dual Katana build. Man it feels like enemies in the game is designed to punish playstyles that rely on dodging the most. The delayed strikes were cool when the bosses did it. Now every two bit mob does it. That along with the 10 hit moves that punish you for trying to punish their attacks and the input reading for flask chugging wears thin real fast. Mages and ranged fighters don't have to deal with this type of bullshit and shield wielders can just block it. I hope for their next game or dlc, the enemy design is not skewed towards just punishing the melee players with no shield.

Spot on, as if the delayed strikes were not enough we get the spam hitting madness (those skele archers in liurnia are so annoying)

This is excellent, now that I've completed and got all the achievements of this game I can watch ANY videos of ER.

Some videos are so good, especially the comedy ones, I can watch them for hours. 'Em Feelz!!

My 100% review

In my journey I've defeated more than 195 bosses and boy this game is filled with boss fights.

Fav. Weapons - Halberds - Golden/Dragon/Gargoyle Halbert for pure phy damage. Mind that I kept changing with different encounters

Dragon King's Cragblade, Maliketh's Black Blade, Axe of Godrick, Dark Moon Greatsword, Hand of Malenia. Sacred Relic Sword after endgame.

Also used Bloodhound's Fang, Prelate's Inferno Crozier and Rogier's Rapier for sometime.

Armors I kept changing but the badass looking I had was Malformed Dragon Armor, Malenia's Armor, Crucible Axe Armor, Cleanrot Armor and Maliketh's Armor.

Spirit is one and only my copy - Mimic

Talisman's - Not fav. but I kept changing the ones I had as per situation. I think I had almost all. Just missed one from Siofra River.

Out of little frustration sometimes I often get up being AFK and kept doing other 'real life' chores while game is still running

and also helping my friends out while in middle of an important task when I kept getting messages.

Bested final boss thrice, once in mine and 2 for others.

Almost remember the whole game, locations, how to get, boss fights including their moves and so on.

You'll get a LOT of butt holes messages throughout and some of them are actually funny.

Can't say much about the game as we all know the creativity and attention to detail is top notch. A proper dark souls open world. Exceeded my expectations which already was high enough.

Favorite Boss Arena - Dragonlord Placidusax

Spectacular

Want to mention the best boss fights in game

Personal Favorite - Starscourge General Radahn (before 1.03 patch)

Malenia, Blade of Miquella

Dragonlord Placidusax

& Malekith, The Black Blade.

I'd have kept Malenia on first place but the character Starscourge General Radahn is one of the best Demigods in Elden Ring and in general.

Radahn and Malenia were both generals in Lands between but Malenia did far worse than any general would. And they were related.

How long did it take to complete the game ? Is the difficulty better or worse than bloodborne ?

Took me around 130 hrs

Difficulty wise the bosses and their reactions are way faster in ER than was in BB. For that, spirits (summons) are a huge help.

Because of the diverse options for builds and less grinding than BB, Elden Ring is considered less difficult than Bloodborne. Subjectively!

Finished the game. The save file showed 125 hours and I was SL level 160 by the end. There was quite a line of bosses towards the end. None of them were too much trouble. The toughest and most memorable bosses were Radahn (pre nerf) and Malenia. Malenia to me was the best boss in the game by far and possibly my most favorite soulsborne boss.

I liked that the game lets you respec quite early into the game. This lets me try out different playstyles. All of them were fun and had their moments. But the easiest was definitely pure INT sorcerer. Faith spells have a long cast time for okayish damage and unlike Dark souls, you don't get hyper armor while casting it. Its easy to get knocked out of the animation by a simple mob.

Melee was fun but also very frustrating at times. If you're going melee its best to go tanky with lots of stamina and a shield. If you split points between two damage stats like Dex and Arcane, that leaves very little points for tank stats. In the late game even simple mobs can 2 shot you without tankiness. If you're relying on dodging to evade attacks, well good luck.

The sheer amount of content in this game is mind boggling. And we're not taking about generic copy paste locations and enemies. Each area felt distinctively different from the rest and had its own vibe and ambience. Exploration in this game was pure joy and I don't think I've had this much fun exploring a game since Oblivion back in the day. In a lot a ways this game sets new standards in terms of open world design and the sheer quantity and quality of content on offer. Any other studio would have divided this game into 3 separate games and no one would have complained about them being too short.

I am glad this game is doing well and garnering main stream attention. While Elden Ring isn't perfect, this game does get a lot of things right. We can only hope that other studios that make open word games take notice and implement some of the best aspects of this game in their projects.

Nice?

130 hours is long.... Is that only for 100% completion or just the main story ?

I'm a little over 130hrs in and still nowhere near the end of the game

Not even once have I felt bored or thought that the game was getting repetitive. In fact I still keep itching to get back to it whenever I'm not playing it.

I know it's been said many, many times already, but the amount of content this game has is absolutely bewildering!

Godskin Apostle in Divine tower of caelid was hardest boss for me.

Switched from dual greatswords to colossal weapon.

I need help with blaidd.

Cant see blaidd in rannie'quest. only ije and seluvis are present in tower. Met blaidd during festival after boss fight he says will meet again. So far progressed into norken city and cleared ancestral boss
