I so wish!! The only option I am left with is to go with Emeralde, the way banks are making it tough to get cards, maybe I should bite the bullet. HND - JFK for Aug'25. Had to fork a little extra miles than just DEL - JFK and will have to reposition to HND by spending time and money. But this has been on the bucket list and booking this is almost impossible. Notes: 1. Cost: 110k United miles + 4k in taxes. 2. The same flight is going for 7.22L INR in revenue, assuming a post set-off cost of 7.2L, i.e. a value of 6.54 INR per mile. 3. I am tempted to instead jump on DEL - JFK if SQ J opens up as it costs the same amount but without repositioning. Not as much of a unicorn but one of the top 3. Will take a call when I see one. Nice. It is on my bucket list but I'm out of UA / AC miles. However, I was able to book JAL F suite in their new A351 on DFW-HND for Sep'25. The revenue rate is 11.2 lacs and booked for 85k miles + 19k surcharge. Edited October 22, 2024 by TheMonark

(don't want to use Cred) NEFT transfer with CC number as the account number and for the IFSC code, you can google the bank’s code for CC payments.

Snake
Anyone here use a priority pass?, is it worth it if you have limited intl travels.

Priority Pass is only useful if you have complimentary uses with it. In itself, a Priority Pass comes charges a membership fee and then charges 25/30$ per visit, so just a pass is not of any use. You need to get a PP which provides you complimentary uses.
dante77
So I was about to pay early to my HDFC card on cred, found out that I can't pay early anymore. Cred says as per HDFC Policy, I can only pay when there is a bill due. When did this happen? Such a retard move. And why would they even do that? Like if bill is 19,910, you cant pay 20k. You have to pay exact amt.

0verlord
I am buying some electronics. Site is offering no-cost EMI on 2 cards which I have - Amex Gold charge card and Axis Ace will I be able to pre-close the no-cost EMI loan on these 2 cards without any pre-closure charges? There's also an instant discount. Will I lose this instant discount if I pre-close?

Axis will levy pre-closure charges, I am not sure about Amex but they have been on top of this ever since it started, I wouldn't pull this with them. dante77
So HDFC gave me option to pay my CC bill, I paid early and those MFs actually returned me my money after 2 days and my bill is pending again! So no way to pay your credit card bill early This is a pretty shitty move and I see absolutely no benefit coming out of it. Why the f**k would they do that. It's not on news as well. Anybody has idea WHY?!!!

Third party apps won't work but if you have HDFC account then you can easily do it as well.

Cred doesn't allow to pay advance anymore. Account allowed me, but refunded today.
