Long pending case upgrade. I upgraded from an RTX 2070S to RTX 3080 a few months back, but chose to retain my old CM NR600 case. Finally decided to take the plunge and chose the Lian Li Lancool 216 after a lot of deliberation. 5-6 hours later, moved over all the components from the old cabinet to this one. Really liking the looks and love the provisions for cable management. PC Specs: - Ryzen 3600 - GSkill Trident Z 3000Mhz CL16 - 2x8GB overclocked to 3200 - Gigabyte Aorus X570 Pro - Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 3080 12G - WD SN850 Pro 1TB, Samsung Evo 500GB SATA SSD, 2TB Seagate Green HDD - CM Hyper 212 with a Noctua NF-F12 cooler - Corsair RM850 PSU - Ducky One 3 SF keyboard - MX Master 3 Mouse - Acer XV340CKP 2k Ultrawide (34 inches)13 points

Couldn't resist the cabinet: Moar Kirby love: Only one of the best compilations to be released this year: The embossing on this version is EXCELLENT. Not sure if it is visible or not, but Sanjay Gupta's RC re-packaging is pretty solid. This one's a monster volume:11 points

- So I have finished my first playthrough of the game, have put 52 hours into it at this point and completed the content to 100% outside collectibles. It's petty much the game I've dreamed about since I was a kid. - First I'd say the world is fantastic, graphically is one of the best open world games I've played since RDR2. The world is so well crafted and there was so much love put into it, it's kind of absurd. You start off in the castle, it's bloody massive. Instantly fall in love with the interiors. Walking through the halls and rooms in ecstatic, never did I feel that exploration is in any way forced. As soon as you step outside and take in the sheer scope of the world, it is positively jaw dropping. The world is ginormous and the developers found clever things to sprinkle everywhere you go. - Gameplay I started on hard difficulty However I did not find much of a challenge I was looking for. Combat is satisfying, the combos are rewarding as they should but the enemy variety could be larger, but it's not absolutely terrible, what's a bit of a shame is that you rarely battle more than 1 enemy type at the same time. Attack patterns of trolls and spiders are small and repeated, could get used to it in mere couple of hours in game. - The story is intriguing but nothing ground breaking, after character customization which is basic the game begins in a cutscene that you learn that your character can see traces of ancient magic which leads you on a path to pursue this calling without any proper background explanation. It slowly picks up the pace. Side quest that was simply "deliver" or "find and bring" as it pointed me to places to discover, this is very much carried by the setting and the amazing world. Few of them were actually good like the PS exclusive 'Mind your own business' quest and especially Sabastian and Ominis relationship quests. I felt their storyline much intriguing then the main story or any side characters story thanks to @VelivolusDasfor explaining me proper background of Ominis Gaunt. - Flying is the best part in game, getting your first broom and taking to the skies feels surreal. You could fast travel, sure, but why would you when you can fly? Game places very few restrictions on where you can and can't fly, practically the whole world is traversable on a mount, it's amazing. You can take off from Hogwarts to the open world to Hogsmeade without any loading screens. So flawless. - Collectibles OMG no, there are around 1,257 collectibles which made me drop the idea of platinum this game. Remove half of the merlin trials and cut 70% of collectibles and it'll get an extra score. - Music and ambient sounds in this game fits great. it's well done. The voice acting is fantastic. Looking at the beautiful world while listening to the calm music is sublime. - Overall it's a good game for the ones who like magic and fantasy open world. This is well made game not only for Harry Potters fans, but for everyone who wish to dive in this amazing Harry Potter world. The ones I gave up on were collectibles and playing as other classes.10 points

\ Couldn't resist and pulled the trigger. Amazing piece of tech. This is miles ahead of last gen VR which was just a poor compromise. Blown away by Horizon and GT7. Kayak was a nice surprise, very chill and realistic engrossing game. Resident Evil Demo gave me motion sickness so that was a bummer, will try again tomorrow when I am a bit fresh to see if I get through the RE. Overall, excellent tech. Sony made it very simple to use. Last gen had 4-5 cable nightmare that you had to plug in. This time around, its just a single usb c cable. Plug that in and you are good to go.9 points

Sharing the benefits I was able to avail from CC usage and points. Don't want to start any war of words or signify one is better than another, but sharing because making your regular spends rewarding by using a CC is beneficial. I got my trip to Goa for 2 people / 4 nights, in April this year from points + memberships. I'm staying at a 5* Taj and flying business one side. Del-Goa tickets for 26k, I paid 10k. Got 10+5+1K MMT vouchers from my DCB and ICICI Sapphiro cards. This is a Vistara flight and based on availability I can get a free upgrade to Premium Economy using my Vistara Axis card Got 4 nights total at Taj with breakfast and 1 lunch included. Costing 75-80K, I paid 30K. This is split into 2 parts Part 1: Bought the Taj Epicure Membership for 30k. From that got 2 nights at the hotel and 1 lunch free in basic rooms Part 2: Got premium rooms for next 2 nights in the same hotel for 40k for free. Using Amex points to get Taj vouchers for 40K Goa-Del flight using my Vistara Axis card in business for free. Usually costing upwards of 70k+ So all in all, a trip that would've cost me about 1.6L+ ended up costing only 40k ish. This is why I use credit cards and time my expenses on each card seperately for max benefits. Hope this inspired someone today!8 points

Finally got hold of Central Perk set. It is retiring soon, and couldn't find it anywhere in India for reasonable price: Nanoblock Kirby <3: Lego Tuk Tuk - been eyeing this for a LOOOOOONG time, and it is surpriisingly still not approved for India: Spent the afternoon with Tuk Tuk - this absolutely an incredible build. Filled with tons of unique parts, frame tends to be a tad delicate, hence took fair bit of time. Lots of fun ! Details are excellent: Any Lego fan should absolutely get Tuk Tuk model. It easily bests many 3 in 1 models just by sheer number of unique parts and build experience.6 points

Didn't even knew this thread existed. I posted my thoughts on what you bought thread. Copy pasting from there , let me know if you want to know anything specific: This is miles ahead of last gen VR which was just a poor compromise. Plug that in and you are good to go. Played Cricket 19 on a 200 inch virtual screen. Surreal experience. Clarity and colors are damn good. Will try watching a few tv shows on netfilx and prime using the massive screen. Cinema Mode works better for sports games as fidelity is not as sharp as your typical 4K tv. It is 1080P with HDR. So Fifa 23 and Cricket 22 were incredible experience as you dont play those games for looks anyway. Played few matches and thoroughly enjoyed on 200 inch screen. Valhalla was immersive at such a size but i could notice the loss in resolution which was a bummer. TLDR, if you play a game for eye candy, play on your TV and rest you can enjoy greatly on VR screen. Rainbow effect is there around the text but only in the settings menu. It goes away when you play any game. havent noticed the effect in the game. The two things which sony implemented which is a gamechanger are : 1) IPD slider which allows you to customize the lens separation based on your own eyes which helps greatly in getting that perfect focus, 2) eye tracking, so headset tracks your eyes and focuses the more processing power in the area you are looking at so you will always have good sharp image at lesser processing cost. Though people who are observing your game on the TV screen can notice it very clearly as they can see parts of screen going in focus and being sharp while other parts are lesser quality but you never notice it as headset does this in real time as per your eyes.5 points

It was such an awful shot. Its ridiculous comparing him to Sachin in tests. Sachin would have applied himself on this wicket and wouldn't have gone for that shot. We need develop more test batsmen. No need for players to paly all formats. Pujara batted so well. Just needed 1 more person to score with him.5 points

Took Down Ixion. My god what a glorious fight, the bubbles these bosses throw towards are a treat to watch and dodge, everything gets so tense with dodging, shooting, active reload, jumping. Its edge of the seat stuff. Grinded and got a hollowseeker with good level and waves thing. Also damage boost artifact scaling to proficiency. Took him down in first try. What a game, WHAT A GAME.5 points
