Just get a Baratza Sette. It’ll open up so many coffee options for you, plus it’ll serve you for years to come.
Then, order fresh beans. My favourite are KCRoasters and I’ve tried them all. This is as much a trial and error hobby as any. You may prefer another roaster.
Then, try any method that catches your fancy, and see if you like the coffee. I’ve been lucky to realise my most preferred coffee is the cold brew.

Good luck. Good, fresh, flavourful coffee is one of those joys of life. Enjoy. 😊

Trust me it's a slippery slope. I like naivo as well as rossette coffee.

I have a French press. Not planning to get a espresso machine any time soon. The one you mentioned is a manual one right? Isn't there an electric one i can get in that range?

Or is manual one easy to use? It's not too much labour?

Espresso is an overkill for home, but make a switch to Pour over or Aeropress.

You’re missing out on cleaner coffee made with paper filters.

Silver Oak blend from BT is the reference point for Indian espressos.
They use this same thing in all their cafés for their espressos.

Don't think it can get better than this.

There are better beans out there for espresso. It is very subjective at the end of the day but I love KC Roasters/Kapi Kotai/Quick Brown Fox more for the espresso roasts. But I love BT for some of their light roasts for pour over(v60). Orchardale is LOVE. They even released a producer series for Orchardale have placed an order for it.

Also, I don't think espresso is an overkill for home, if you love coffee and are willing to give it some time then it is an absolute joy. Making espresso drinks at home has been extremely therapeutic. Since I have started making espresso/lattes at home I noticed I never really want to go to BT/Starbucks/ThirdWave etc for coffee. I prefer my home espresso. Starbucks is the absolute worst of them all, I made the mistake of purchasing their beans as well once and it is just extremely dark and burnt you just cant have espresso from their beans and this was apparently a light roast as per their description.

I love espresso, but it’s the grinder that always holds me back from taking the plunge and getting an espresso setup

I want to get something good like Niche grinder and don’t want to compromise with cheaper options.

And yes, Starbucks is burnt trash. It’s not even coffee in my book.
Those ppl serve espresso in paper cups. :hi2:

If you are okay with manual then 1zpresso Jx-pro at around 17k is more than capable of handling espresso. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much with the Baratza ESP but it has surprised me but I mostly use medium roasts it might struggle with light roasts for espresso haven't really used light roasts for espresso so can't comment. It is more than capable for light roasts for pourover though.

Need a water geyser, haven't bought one ever. Any recommendations?

My recommendation is Racold Aures, have been using for 2 years and now replaced all geysers with this one.

This does not have any water storage capacity, water passes through the coils and gives hot water directly. Requirement for this is good water pressure.

Fellow coffee enjoyer spotted. :majesty:

Which coffee are you brewing these days bro ?

Very new to black coffee. Always been a filter coffee drinker so recently pivoted to moka pot did not enjoy much now got aeropress and this is definitely much better.

Currently I got Sampigehoney Estate, Orchardale Estate and Seethargundu Estate from BT, sticking with grind coffee for now

Take your time and try different roasters. Down the line the biggest improvement you can do is to get a grinder and grind before brewing. You will realize the change in taste is day and night. Coffee oxidizes as soon as it is ground and starts losing its flavor and taste. No need to rush honestly. Till then enjoy the coffee. Cheers!

Whatever you buy, make sure to go for a larger capacity storage heater if you take long showers.

Just buy a 20-25 litre and forget about it. Totally worth the extra money.
Don’t go for smaller ones as they can barely deliver 10 mins of sustained hot water.

Went with 25L Racold Omnis DG.

Instant ones rarely work well.

Is there gonna be another massive sale sometime?

Wanna pick up the Apple Watch SE 2, i think it went for 21K or so during the sale earlier this month.

The initial 2-3 days of the sale usually have the best prices so unlikely.

The airpods are selling for reduced prices I guess because of the new usb-c version.

I ordered it during the sale for 21k + additional card discount.

Delivery Agent marked it as customer rejected and returned the order to seller.

I called Amazon customer care and complained about it. After continuous follow up for couple of days they said they raised complaint on delivery agent and asked me to reorder and promised refund of hiked price difference (23k)

Reordered again.

Delivery Agent marked it as customer rejected and returned the order AGAIN.

I got it (44mm version) for 21k before card discount, good deal

prices may drop over the festive season ahead, keep an eye out

SE2 also has the double pinch one-handed gesture which works perfectly, so no really need spend double on Series 9
