Has anyone got battery replacement for their Samsung phone?

My S22+ is 2 years old now and battery drop is noticeable, working great otherwise.

Wanted to know if replacement restores full capacity or does Samsung use different batteries than the one phone originally came with.

Same batteries. But be careful which care centre you give it. Samsung sub service centres have bad control quality. Battery repair karenge aur speaker kharab

Replaced my note 9 battery recently in Samsung service center, I can notice full capacity back, it hardly consumes battery overnight when not in use unlike before..

S23 Ultra or if you can wait, get something from S24 lineup. It is supposed to be a decent upgrade.

Currently using Pixel, found Ios to be smoother and less buggy . Pixel is less buggier than most androids still below Ios.  FaceID is miles above infingerprint scanner . The new automations in Ios is fantastic (Similar can be done in android but not natively). 
As i said again its ios vs android in the end. If you like freeness of android go with 23+ Ultra , banger phone. Il sadly be switching back to iOs next year, unless android comes with sub 6 inch phones

after being on iPhone 13 pro for almost 1.5 years I switched to S23 Ultra and loving it, iPhone is just way too Bland and S23 Ultra has been an amazing surprise hardly any bugs and the camera is god send. My biggest use case is the Camera.

 

Btw do check out One Plus Open, I was blown away by the look and feel of the phone, the crease is minimal and the weight is same as S23 Ultra and Pro Max. If you can wait hold on to couple of months and get S24 Ultra in Feb.

True. I had to use my wife's old iphone 12 for 2 weeks when my Pixel 6 Pro's screen broke, i couldn't stand it. Such bland and boring OS.

I think the question is simple - which ecosystem do you want to end up in ? iOS is the start of Apple ecosystem, and Samsung/Pixel do the same for Android. 
I disagree with other saying iOS is boring - not sure what they mean. You can do almost the same things on both nowadays - both are really mature tbh. From interactive widgets to live activities on iOS, the excellent use of Dynamic Island (once you get used to it, there’s no going back), great spotlight search (works as one stop shop for contacts, apps, unit conversion, calculator etc), excellent shortcut and automation tools, superb battery with Plus and Max models. iOS is *generally* more stable and fluid than Android for “long term” usage. You get 6-7 years of iOS updates, there’s a lot of flexibility now wrt changing icons and personal customisation. 
Of course the magic is in the ecosystem, and there’s hardly any other company which does it better (Huawei comes close second, but the exosys isn’t available globally). If you plan to get invested in a Mac, iPad, Apple TV etc, iPhone is the way to go. 
I was an Android fanboy till last year but after the abysmal battery on Samsungs and Pixels - important for me since I travel a lot- forced myself to get a 14PM and I really don’t miss much on Android after actively trying to understand the software. If you do move, keep in mind that the first couple of months will have you doubting the move, but the more you use, the easier it will get. For ex I hate the way Apple does contacts, no T9, but after using Spotlight to find contacts, I don’t need T9. There is a bit of learning curve, but you can’t do wrong with either tbh.

I was a huge apple fan boy, used it for good 9 years before jumping onto Android when iPhones started pricing over a Lakh locally..  still use an iPad for office emails and browsing so not completely out of the ecosystem.. will give it a try if I get a good deal..

Pro Max and Pro models are still not assembled in India and hence there’s a big price difference (almost 50k). 
 

Try getting it thru someone from Dubai or U.S.  

 

Also, go for iOS if you want a better experience with productivity apps.

bhai don’t listen to these Android fanboys. iOS is the best and iPhones are more reliable and premium devices with solid service. Go with 15Pro Max it is

Got an iPhone 15 Pro Max from recent Singapore trip.. Honestly I am not feeling it.. I am so used to my good old Note 9, appreciating it even more without using the case.. iPhone also failed WhatsApp transfer for 5 times using Move to iOS unless I deleted all junk and made the back up file small.. willing to let go at cost price 125K, Bangalore folks can DM me.. White 256 Model..

 

Checked 23 Ultra in the store and screen really doesn't feel premium and has matt type finish, hate the non-curve edges, rectangle type shape too.. only thing stood out for me was One Plus Open, it can do both use case of phone and tablet.. will be a good pick up in an offer price.. 135K seems steep for that..

The s23 ultra currenly has a 25K flat card discount in Flipkart. If you have a FK Axis, then an additional 5K cashback. Great deal in my opinion.

Literally said in my last post that unless you’re wiling to invest 3-4 months and get used to the OS, no point in moving (goes either ways for long term users). 
For WhatsApp transfer, just use one of the paid apps - FWIW - I was able to transfer WhatsApp and other stuff from my mom’s Oneplus to 15 Plus flawlessly, in one attempt (via move to iOS). There might be other reasons for failure (screen turning off etc) ?

Also, check out Pixel 8 Pro ?
