I'm to at the Hillcrest mission. Just took out 3 dogs with headshots.

It's little tough to be discreet when they're on the field. You need to be constantly moving.

Ran out of that too towards the end of that level.

And lol @ ND pulling off a kojima with that fake scene from the trailer.

I simply avoided everyone there after gazillion tries :P

It feels eternity thinking of that level now.

Did you complete the whole section till that cutscene from the trailer/b roll? There are a lot more than 3 dogs and handlers.

Nobody even answered my question... if there is anyway to take those Shamblers out in a stealthy way? Or best to just avoid them altogether?

You cant. You can dodge their attacks though.

Later in the game, you get a awesome awesome weapon but they still dont die quick by that :P Stealth toh chodh do.

You can stealth clickers though.

Took me a while to realize that clickers in this game actually use echolocation and sonar bursts to find you even if you're sitting completely still.

Oh so that's why they used to come and catch me even if I remained stationery, thought it must've been the flashlight (which made no sense tbh)

Thank you. Dafuq.

Anyway past those f**king dogs, entered a house, fell into a basement with Shamblers and promptly shat my pants with one on each side of me.

That dog section was just a teaser. The real one is just about to come.

Got that as a 'hint' from the game.

The same hint is in the first game, but they never actually catch you. Always found it funny how they could avoid all the furniture etc. but couldn't tell a human sized shape sitting still in the corner.

Just now, adity said:

How can echolocation detect movement when there is no movement? Unless it's implying that clickers are able to detect human shaped things.

When they scream they send a sonar like burst. If you're in that cone and not hiding behind obstacle, RIP.

I get that but how can a sonar burst differentiate between say a table and a human.

Well they're probably used to all the tables and tress and rocks and shambling zombies, so when they get a funny echo back from humans or other live animals they be like "wtf is this sh*t? ATTTACKK......AAAAAAAAA"
