Malaysia for 6-7 days is a bit boring. If you want to tour Malaysia, you can see Petronas Tower in Kuala Lumpur (they take you up to 40th floor I believe, it's been some time since I visited). The only place I can think of in Malaysia is Genting Highlands. Although, I heard the outdoor theme park is closed you do have other attractions there, so check it out online.

Any of you guys have any suggestions on what tosee in Scandinavia (Norway, Iceland, Sweden etc.) Planning on an Italy/Scandinavia tour in May. Thanks for the help.

Ditched the malaysia tour. Stretched my budget a little and planning a hong tour. Suggestions?

What type of activities are you interested in?

Cities,

Landscape,

Natural wonders

Fun activities?

What's your budget, and what's your duration of travel?

U will get bored in Macau unless u like gambling. Just a 1N 2 D is fine over there. As there isnt much after gambling and bungie jumping.

HK and Macau both are very expensive for shopping at malls and branded stores. Street shopping is utterly cheap.

Also don't do both disneyland and oceans park. Oceans park is much better though. But otherwise you will find a lot to do in Hong Kong. There is a day trip to an island very close to hk famous for party and food.

Plus there are many more attractions apart from oceans park.

I have made it 5 nights in hong kong and 2 nights in macau. I am staying in venetian in macau. So, 2 nights will be worth it.

5 Nights in Hong Kong too much......

Without telling, I am sure you will definitely go to Victoria Hill View, Ocean Park & DisneyLand... But TBH, The Best thing I loved in HK is the Lantao Island Tian Tan Big Budhdha trip.

One of the best Cable Car rides in the world you will have it here.. Totally scenic. Please note, It is a One Day Trip and totally worth it.

Also, If you want to see both sides of the Skyscraper (HK & Kowloon) then you need to go to top floor of Sky 100 in the Kowloon Island.

Macau, There isn't much to see apart from the Casinos. Not family type... The Ferry Ride from HK to Macau is somewhat watchable.

Hope the above helps.

Guys!! (I know its a bit late but) I will be at chandigarh in a couple of days for a couple of days, so can any of you recommend any particular place to vist that might be of an interest to a (kinda) tech savy guy? i will be free after noon and sun will be shining bright, my parents cant roam in sun for long.

First day I will be visiting Rock garden and Government's historical museum, while Second day will be going to Nangal Dam and maybe Shri Naina Devi temple. I think after these four sites i will have hardly enough time to go somewhere else but still is there anywhere I might like going? Maybe I can visit Elante mall to checkout brands not known to me.

Nice location pick.

The ferry travel from Santorini to Mykonos can be lot of fun. However, it's quite a long journey. Go to gtp.gr to determine your travel options.

Mykonos has better beaches. While, Santorini has more memorable and unique beaches. Do visit the Red Beach.

You might not want to miss the Little Venice restaurant during evening time. Avoid if your friend has already been to Venice.

Amoudi Bay in Santorini around the reddish mountains is nice place.

Visit Oia. Absolute bliss during sunset. Also has nice caldera view. Maybe go to Fira as well.

Day trip, check out the ancient island of Delos from Mykonos and/or the ancient site of Akrotiri on Santorini.

For staying, well, depends on what you like. If you fancy nice sea view, check places in Mykonos. Santa Marina Resort for one. If you fancy amazing views, check places in Santorini. Katikies Hotel for example.

Both are luxury hotels, but it's great for one time experience. You can also narrow down your hotel choices as there are plenty of good hotels for stay.

Santorini Hotels / Mykonos Hotels.

Will be going to Lonavla for 2 days next week. Any suggestions on some specific places to go there? Going for a wedding but am sure we'll have a lot of time to spare during the day, so hoping my wife and I could go and explore any interesting places to eat at or shop or go see.

Do not miss Uraigarh at any cost. Its 2 km behind Amby Valley. There is a Lake on top plus the valley view. Its freakin Gorgeus there. There are stairs to reach there but only at the end,you will have to make your way through Jungle to get there. No concrete route, though paths are visible.Little tiring to reach the top but the view and atmosphere makes up for it.Get a Stick once you reach the monkeys on the stairs, they hardly bother though.Rest Lonavla is crap.

Prepared to get extremely bored in lonavala in case you dont have much to do in the wedding as the place is hyped up. There is nothing apart from chikki stores and traffic and heavy rains in this season(which is beautiful). you can go to lavasa instead or just make a day trip to Pune or Mumbai.

Yeah i agree that even lavasa is crap but "visiting lavasa first time" > "visiting lonavala first time"

people would prefer lavasa over lonavala as the first impression is better cuz it is unlike our regular hill station throughout India. colorful buildings and cobbled pathways with over priced food (all thanks to mumbai) what else do you need?

and yeah maganlal chikki
