He`s a legend!

what a beautiful smile.. Don`t you think so?

I think if we remove the “g” it would signify the perfect “end” for this portrayal.

Even with CoVid gone, Playstation is not going to invest big in physical events to promote upcoming games. Moving on to digital streams like random SOPs and a showcase once a year. They do take part in third party events like the Game Awards but it is rare.

Maybe a small kiosk/space in some events like GDC to reveal/promote a hardware.

Of course they will still market games heavily, just that the strategy has changed. More like they will market a first party game heavily on or just before release.

Demand is unprecedentedly higher than Supply.
No wonder they don’t really need Marketing & Sales staff.

Wow now you are justifying/explaining/giving your expert analysis on why they fired people . That has to be a new low for bots .

They didn’t just fire ppl..

They terminated those positions altogether.

I ain’t really commenting on any ppl or individuals here.

Just why they would have felt they don’t need a specific setup anymore.

As far as new low……whatever floats your boat……

The "firing" also has a lot to do with roles being consolidated, a lot of the retail marketing (peripheral, hardware and software) have been supplanted by the direct consumer / product marketing teams.

Playstation sells more units online vis a vis physical offline channels. Maybe that'll change once the situation normalises

Lots of planned diversion on the internet yesterday to take spot light off of another 5 year old announced game from Xbox studios,to be still in pre-production.

This on the other hand was announced exactly 1 year ago & even that hasn’t fully completed yet.

I still believe some big name is behind this project as Sony wouldn’t allow any random questionable developer to use PSstore app for promotion.
It’s kinda common sense as they allowed same kinda promotions for MGSV & Silent Hills before.

I could have given you a much better example:-

But you having a hard time finding a half decent example for a counter in itself is reflective of how rarely it happens with the opposite camp.

I just think believing that the schmucks at bluebox will come out with some masterpiece AAA title is delusional.

One of the only two third party(maybe even overall) to get an opportunity at promoting/announcing their game through a live PSstore app.

PS:-Quoted for future reference (maybe even pwnage)

If it’s indeed Konami it would be more like IP purchase, something like M$ did with Gears Of War.

These IP’s are hugely synonymous with Playstation & Konami is no longer into AAA gaming.

Makes sense for Sony to make one of their newly acquired studios to work on them.

Konami in itself is too big & of no use to Sony.
Buying Kojipro along with these IP’s makes more sense.

His team has worked on all three IPs at some point.
