Just watched Parasite, shots using verticality to show where society perceives people to be in the social ladder were an absolute masterclass. The film can be interpreted in so many different ways by different people depending on their place in the ladder. The abstract nature of the film is so unique.

I might come out with a different thought by the end of my second viewing. Its beautiful. I bet you can get an insight into any person by his interpretation of the film.

The twist in the end was gut wrenching.

I didnt get the purpose/ use of the gift rock though?

Thanks a ton @STICK3Rboy for recommending this film. This is what makes this forum great!!!

I was a bit disappointed with the movie, with all that hype surrounding it.

But these Koreans really make very great movies.

You can try these korean movies also:

The Yellow Sea

Memories of Murder

The Chaser

New World

This is probably my favourite Korean movie so far. Love it to bits.

It's made by the same guy who made Parasite. The guy's filmography is just fantastic.

Men in Black: International - what a disaster. Wonder if they even read or watch the movie after making it and laugh. 8ErHq8e.gif

Best part was that little Pawn who had some one liners but you can delete the character and movie will still be the same.

Totally forgettable and a waste of time.
