Big Boss
Saw Ghosted on Apple TV plus. Pretty fun romcom. Chris Evans was really good and so was Ana De Armas. I would rate it 7.5/10.

GunnerY2J
Watched Gladiator 2. Visuals were great, action scenes were good but the use of animals felt so over the top. The music is okay. But the plot is loose and the main character doesn't fit in. He lacks personality and the emotional connection is not there. Acacius and macrinus fit better in the script, even the doctor is a nice addition. Second half feels rushed and confused. Decent watch but not close to the level of the first, that can't be expected also of course. Edited November 22, 2024 by GunnerY2J

The first half was great but went downhill in the second half. The twin Emperors and the Senate are incompetent as hell. Commodus was way better in 1. A good movie is always determined by the quality of the villain. I wont spoil too much. Macrinus's action at the end of the movie is the dumbest decision I have even seen. The colosseum fights are entertaining. Solid performances by Pedro Pascal and Connie Nielsen.

First half i thought they are heading somewhere at least. The sudden change in personality of hano was too much. I didn't feel him one bit. The ending was so sh*t and forced, both the main villain and hero running away to meet in between the armies to fight each other And he almost lost that too. Such a filmy bollywood masala ending. They don't make classics like they used to.

Felix the cat
Just Watched johnny gaddar and now i cant understand why we didn't watch this film in theaters. I just checked its a flop on the box office, how it can be a flop I dont think i ever watched such direction in any of the indian movie. No major song where everyone is dancing, no bs at all in entire film, although they can also remove female lead, her character was unnecessary in the film, there was no need. NNN's acting is the only weak point in the movie, if this was an aamir's movie, it could be a next huge like 3 idiots from that decade. They should re release it. Bollywood can do this with buch of other films, at least in metro-cities. Im willing to pay even higher than current ticket prices for bunch of films like that, Gangs of wasseypur, pan singh tomar, Satya, maqbool, ZNMD, Dil chahta hai, sarfarosh, Gangajal, Hera pheri, andaz apna apna, dhol, its a long list, Edited November 29, 2024 by Felix the cat

Felix the cat
The substance, OMG, what a movie, it took me 10 minutes to relax my mind after movie ends. Idk what genre this movie fits in. Its a satire and a kick in the nuts for beauty standards set by marketing and film industry. Its a mind blowing blend of sci-fi and philosophy. I was casually searching for films featured in this year cannes festival, this one got the best screenplay award. Its a solid must watch film. Direction, music, story, everything is fantastic about it. I searched reviews on yt and i was surprised that not a single indian reviewer cover this film, all reviews are from ytbers from other countries. I guess we (indians) only getting fed ghatiya maal. Pushy
saw Pushpa 2 yesterday,, theaters going full (unlike BB3, where bms showed full seats but theatre was empty ) 1 time watch tho, action, bakwas, even by South standards, that end fight was so cringe to watch. didn't get the ending tho, like who dat ??? but bruh, bhai, jo bhi hain, that intro of ROLEX at the end of VIKRAM, boy, that's how you make people wait for the next movie 1 was better. R City Imax has some decent sound

R City Imax has some decent sound Yeah, i only watched first 30 minutes, i have the option to watch it till the end but something comes up and i chose to left. I just don't understand why these movies are earning so much, maybe bcs they're masala movies, bc how much more masala indians want. Its a typical south indian movie that i used to watch on UTV action or max in my school days, like those Nagarjuna movies, meri jung, don no.1 or vidhwanshak: the destroyer🤣 actually i like those movie more, better than RRR, pushpa or KGF. The only think thats changed is marketing of these movies on the internet. I think the movie like KGF, RRR or pushpa has equal budget for marketing to its actual production budget. That hand gesture from pushpa 1 was so cringe and overrated, but somehow we all remember when david warner does it, Im sure he would have been paid handsomely to do that. Recently the only true entertainer from south india was Bahubali for me. Edited December 9, 2024 by Felix the cat

Lack of Edu is not the reason, but lack of good content is. We indians rarely get to see anything good on big screen, and almost nothing on small screen (tv). Problem is that our entertainment industry thinks that only urban audience deserves good content so there were never even an option between good and bad content for core hindi or small town audiences in India, and i think now its too late. So Its more of industry's failure to not able to make good regional language content/shows.

You are discarding a movie based on first 30 mins, you liked Don no. 1 and sh*tting on this. You think Meri jung is better than RRR They are earning so much because people had a good time watching it and are recommending to friends and family. Marketing only works for first day, adipurush is the prime example. If movie is sh*t, it will never work. You dont like RRR or KGF as well. You have a problem with signature step/move as well. You may not like dhai kilo ka haath, srk pose, salman dabang, kitne aadmi the,etc as all cringe. Basically you are being cry baby bro. Dont cry more. Yes I left the movie in 30 min and im glad i did after watching my friends and family reactions on the movie. But i watched part 1, and my point was these movies are fun on tv, like i used to watch those old movies. You took me wrong that i genuinely liked those old movies, no, all of these movies are same and not worth the money watching in theaters. But yes those old movies are better, considering the budget and year they were released in, than pushpa, and specially KGF anyday. KGF was really a disgusting brain-rot . Yeah you can argue on Meri jung, i understand. Btw It makes me remember those movies of mithun and sunil shetty that was greatly appreciated by rikshaw pullers in the 90s, certainly time has changed, hardly get to see any rikshaw pullers these days but similar movies like KGF found its new base among auto- rickshaw and tum-tum drivers. You're saying like I have some grudge against sounth indian movies, but i liked bahubali, its really a good movie. There are many good movies frm south, but movies like pushpa, kgf are getting all the fame is not fare imo.
