Even if Horizon 2 is not a launch title, it'll still be shown. There games are technical masterpieces. Killzone 2 reveal was the most memorable ever. No one was ready to believe it was in game footage. people thought game wont be as good as it was shown in the reveal, will be downgraded. Miyazaki is busy with Elden Ring. And we don't even have a single gameplay trailer for Elden Ring yet. Miyazaki will only work on BB2 after Elden Ring launches. True, Sony can get someone else to make BB2. But BB2 without Miyazaki is pointless. DS Remake or BB Remake can easily be done, because a 3rd party will just pretty up the visuals, improve frame-rate on the new system and give it to you. Of the two - BB Remake and DS Remake, I would prefer DS Remake, because it is far too old and does not hold up in current times. Launching everything in quick succession reduces the hype, reduces overall sales (Sony's own games will cannibalize each other's sales), plus it will lead to long period of game drought - with nothing releasing. Expect either GG or SSM (any one of the 2) to be there. Most probably GG since it's been quite some time since Horizon release and they will hope to capitalize on the Horizon 1 PC launch. Bluepoint will be there, because they only do remasters and remakes. they don't make any new games. Sony Japan can also be there since they cater to a different player-base altogether (The ICO/SOTC/Folklore etc.) fanbase which is different from the God Of War/Horizon/Uncharted/The Last of Us fanbase and does not intersect much. Sony might have said go for Lovecraftian theme - but Miyazaki and Fromsoft were the ones who actually brought it to life. The brilliant level designs, the beautiful gameplay and concept of trick weapons, the chilling beasts and monsters, the beautiful music, the sanity concept, the great boss battles - all were Miyazaki's work. It's easy to give ideas. But to actually make the idea functional and bring it to life - that's the hard part. And that was all Fromsoft. Bluepoint, which has till now, only upgraded existing games and not made a single new game themselves - a huge project like BB2 is just too much for them. And even if Sony gives it to some 3rd parties, the factor that made BB special in the first place, that itself will be missing. There are numerous Soulsborne Clones, but even with that, none have as yet been able to make a Soulsborne game batter than or even as good as Fromsoft.
