None of the skills will replace another one. Unlock -> equip -> swap out as you like. All items are dropped regularly and need only 1-2 for upgrading. Armour and weapons can be upgraded; even for Atreus. Runes and enchantments. You can save anytime anywhere. Save -> test out new build -> liked? keep; else reload and try a new build. Enemies DON'T scale to your level. Revisit areas and check bestiary. Draugr! Draugr! Draugr! Plenty of Draugrs. Resurrection Stone. When you die in combat, it'll bring you back. Can carry only 1.
