Hey guys, I (and others) have been getting a lot of complaints regarding some of the discussions in the PS5 and XSX threads. Specifically, the name calling and personal comments are getting out of hand, and it turns a lot of people away from being more active in these threads. There are some members who have made a habit of derailing these two threads and we won't allow that going forward. So please use this post as a general warning to everyone.   Many of us will soon have an Xbox Ser

Microsoft is partnering with Inworld AI to develop Xbox tools that will allow developers to create AI-powered characters, stories, and quests. The multiyear partnership will include an “AI design copilot” system that Xbox developers can use to create detailed scripts, dialogue trees, quest lines, and more.

Why not? AI has played a vital role in advancing tech and it's contribution to most fields is rather impressive. Think of a game like Starfield that requires hours and hours of mocap and scripting -- AI could potentially help automate a lot of it (except for maybe the key NPCs in the game that require personal attention) and that could help game dev in a lot of ways.

AI is a tool that developers can use. How they use it is upto them.
