I think it’s better to wait & finish some of the older games I own already. 
coz these throw away prices are only for first 3 years. 

 

Once I’m done with all my older owned games then maybe I should jump on this & play the entire catalog I wanted to play available on GamesPass.

In my opinion, just economically speaking it makes sense to pick up the mid-gen refresh PS5 when the prices have stablised and the a big enough used games market. For now though, Gamepass has enough and more to keep you occupied.
