Its a visually very pretty game, but each cutscene was like 1 hr long which killed the pacing for me

IIRC, it had some 9 hours of cutscenes.

Gameplay was only 2-3 hours iirc

LMAO.

If you run from point A to B in each level….which you easily can in lower difficulty levels….then yes.

But Kojima always designed his games around the espionage toys at your disposal rather than the complexity or length in the Levels.

So yeah if you be creative & enjoy the toys & AI rather than rushing, it’s kinda upto you how much time you take to finish the play through.

My first play-through was like 26 hrs long including 9 hrs cutscenes.

Also Kojima excelled this design in MGS5 which was a sandbox without any real story progression.

I played 270 or so hours & I Havn’t even gotten into Chapter 2(The End Game).

MGS was always designed this way at heart….all of them.

It was the pinnacle of Kojima’s master design.

He crated & incepted the whole Fox Engine from scratch for this very vision of sandbox espionage.

FK, haven't gamed a single MGS since MGS4 Guns of Patriota :fear1:

Day 1 baby.

Yeah, man. Really hyped for this! But silly Konami, not announcing release date at all. It's still "scheduled for 2024."

High chances of it being slightly delayed, unless they're planning a shadow drop or something during TGA in December, which will be pretty awesome, IMO.
