They're masters of misleading adverts. They said the black friday sale is ongoing for which ps plus can be had for upto 30% off and that you can buy PS wallet balance from them to avail it!

Veilguard is already in PS+ that too in Essentials! It only released in October! Seems it really, really didn't do well if it came so early, and that too not even in Extra or Premium/Deluxe but Base Essentials!

Sometimes games are strategically placed on Essential rather than Extra because it stays there only for a month to be availed.

Attracting more new Subscribers immediately rather than keeping it accessible for 6 months to everyone.

Difference being of a game goes out of Extra - it's gone from Library! Extra is a Rental Service! For what you said, burst of PS+ subs, Sony and EA would have put a 1-2 month deal on Extra - Game gets rotated out afterwards, and whoever didn't complete or play,  they can't anymore!

 

Essential - it's there to play so long as you're subscribed, once it's redeemed! It won't go out! It's equivalent to being given away almost! The fact EA agreed to give it out in Essentials so quickly says quite a bit about how the game did and how EA sees the game I think! I don't think any AAA game has come to PS+ so quickly that too in Essentials (and I'm including Sony's own games in their own Service)

I don’t think Sony wants to put any game up only for 3 months!!

 

Minimum 6 months they must put to have credibility of the service & cost them a much bigger window for ppl to come & be done with it.

 

Putting games on PSplus Essential is much cheaper because of this.

 

Just one Month Exposure to put it in library would attract interested ppl right away & they’ll be on subscription till the time they don’t finish or can return on a later date.

Its more of a action adventure with RPG elements. Its not bad game but definitely weakest Bioware RPG along with Andromeda. 

 

Its huge step backwards compared to old Bioware rpg when it comes choices and consequences and all.

Certified bomba if its this early. Heck even Ghostwire tokyo and Forspoken came in a bit later.
