I feel somewhat similar even though I don't have a PS5 or XSX yet. Now that the others are no longer excited about getting a PS5, I am not feeling too disappointed any more about not getting one and have decided not to get one from the grey market. I even sold my PS4 pro this Sunday after finally completing AC Valhalla. Though the whole Wi-Fi seemed to have disappeared from the system. Connected using WPS and I haven't encountered the issue yet so far in about 4 hours of playing since. They still haven't shipped mine which was preordered back on 12 Jan sharp at 12pm when the preorders went live.
