I’m almost at the end I think and got hit by so many side quests all of a sudden.  Planning to complete all of them before the final showdown (I’m assuming it’s final based on all the indications the game has thrown at me so far).  I’m at level 45 now.

While I agree on the scale and setting, the gameplay itself is not as good as ff7: remake. Clive is really op and there’s little to no strategy required except mash one eikon ability after another to take down most enemies.  Even the world is mostly static and most npc are pretty dumb like standing at the same place, repeating the same lines over and over.  The plot and setting is really awesome though.  Feels like reading thru a grrm novel at times with all the lore.

I agree. My take is purely based on Eikon battles

Sony Now Has More Live-Action And TV Shows announced than Video Games

Compared to 7 movie adaptations and multiple other TV shows, Sony only has very few first-party titles planned for the PlayStation 5. Ghost of Yotei and DS2 titles planned for a 2025 release date, while not much is known about Marvel’s Wolverine and Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

I guess the article talks about Sony having more movies and shows on gaming IPs than first party games, not just any movie/show.

True. Its very evident with Lack of first party games coming out from in-house studios lately and more reliant on 3rd party money hatted exclusives.

Nothing in article is surprising tbh. Its known fact but obviously ponies will stay in denial.

After failure of Concord, Sony must be seeint more profits in movies and tv shows than their games :P

Gaming announcements & Release work a lot differently than Movies & Shows.

TLOU Show will shoot & release two seasons in the same time ND just made 1 Part.

& it’s not like the Gaming studios are diverted into making movies.

Both are completely different units & have got nothing to do with one another.

Sony has released more or less 50 games in just the last decade!!

Which is an astounding feat in itself!!

Of course. Not saying they will come in between each other. Just that Sony having announced more movies and tv shows on gaming ip is a new thing.

but Sony Entertainment And Sony Studios are different entities and Sony Studios releases way more movies, tv shows etc in a year than games. So it’s comparing apples to oranges

Definitely. Not saying it makes sense.

Their gaming IPs are gaining momentum like never before seen in Gaming.

Apart from B grade movies here & there we hardly ever saw Angelina Jolie playing Lara Croft.

Them making big time investments in bringing popular IPs to another medium shouldn’t be interpreted as a sign that they are slowing down on something!!

50 games in last Decade & 5-6 already announced for the next year or two aren’t a slouch my any metric!!

Unless of course one is disappointed that these are being given free day1 on a hilariously subsidised subscription service!!

Now that is a disappointment I can understand!!

After failure of concord, there was GOTY Astro Bot from Sony :giggle:

Can you tell concord budget now? Has it exceeded MS Market cap now?

Not sure how to feel about this. Was hoping for college students messing around in a snowy hillstation, pranks and wendigo, but that concepts been done to death.

On one hand I dislike the fact that they've ignored everything from the game, on the other hand the idea of a new horror every time that thing resets seems like a good idea.

yeah that's the part I'm looking forward to. Otherwise I'm ok with old school campy generic concept.
