AnK Posted February 9 Report Share Posted February 9 (edited) For the Nth time!!  It’s got nothing to do with the Pro dude!!  PSslim & Disc drive have been out for more than a year now for gawd sake!!   Millions have been using this even in our region!!  Including my First Cousin!!  No such report of disc drive not working in offline mode on the internet!!  Would really like all your friends to be more vocal & raise this issue!! Vamos Posted February 9 Report Share Posted February 9 (edited) The disc drive will need re-authentication if you do a factory reset.  It’s actually a good thing because it allows you to resell just the disc drive separately or use it with future PS consoles without being locked to a single PS5.  But the issue/bug where the drive behaves oddly sometimes in offline mode is definitely there and it affects some users randomly.   Edited February 9 by Vamos spelling Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
