The moment at the end where Paul tells the smug Bene Geressit lady to "SILENCE" is so satisfying

Audiences here gasped when he said that. I bet some of them even jumped out of their seats. The whole third act was bonkers! Honestly, I went in just to experience Dolby Atmos and came out a fan.

Watched Dune 2

I absolutely loved the slow-mo slow-burn impactful cinematography scenes in 1st half. The action was tiring though

The best way I can describe Dune Part II is that it's a gripping spectacle. The first half was somewhat of a slow-burn (not as slow as the first movie, though), but the second half... :O My, oh my... :O It had me hooked right until the end, and honestly could've seen 30 minutes more of it, despite a proper "end" to the story-arc.

The IMAX experience is not to be missed. I was thoroughly awestruck! Excellent implementation. Please do yourself a favour and watch it on the best screen possible (IMAX).

A couple of shots (I just couldn't help myself):

I’ve seen it twice now. I have no words.

Pure visual filmmaking. Relying very less on dialogue and just maxing out on visuals and sound mix.

I can’t get the score out of my head, especially this piece by Hans Zimmer

Yes.

Denis said it’s made with newcomers in mind. There are more than enough clues in the movie to not miss out on anything

Watched Dune 2 yesterday. Loved it, they delve into a lot of themes that they didn’t in the first one.

The visuals and sound were amazing, denis knocked it out of the park the movie is more geared towards the book reader and I’m not mad about that. But I also get why people got bored

Dune 2 is amazing, in all its beauty ACs all its horror

Can’t wait for Dune Messiah

Dunki could have been so good but feels something misses here. SRK is just too good here.

Some of the comedy doesnt land and Boman Irani comes as the weakest character here. Tapsee pannu has no screen charm, could have got some better actor. Rest of the cast is good and vicky is fantastic.

Rajkumar hirani could have done lot better here but anyways a good movie.

Knives Out -ish remixed adaptation with Indian cast & crew, and you think it’ll be good, I exclaimed to the wife. She ignored my quip and put Murder Mubarak on Netflix anyway. And I’m glad she did, because this is a tight, well made, fun, and funny movie with an incredible ensemble cast, with spot on performances. It’s not short, but time will fly by.
A good story, a properly unfolding onion-like layered mystery, satisfying end and a remake that’s equal parts inspiration and adaptation. You can see where it comes from yet it is enough of its own thing and it works.

Good artists copy, great artists steal.

Well done Netflix, Homi Adajania, Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan et al.

PS: epic party bro.

8.5/10
