Get it hardwired. Especially if you have ocd about ping and latency in mp gaming. One time trivial kharcha hoga.

And a high end router...baaki toh sab tere paas hai hi :chair: 9.1 Atmos soundbar:bash:

Oooh I play Apex Legends online. I mean, ping and latency hasn't been a problem but if I switch to wired via ethernet cable I assume it'll be EVEN better?

Currently my PS4 Pro is connected to 5Ghz Wifi, and I get 60 ping on Middle East and South East Asia serves.

I used to play on living room TV, but now I play on monitor at my desk, so I can theoretically connect ethernet cable.

I just plug one end into monitor, other into PS4 and voila?

Wired should be much better. Also you'd get stable latency. wifi can keep going up and down depending on which segment you get onto for each transmission, interference requiring re-transmission etc.

Haan, I had that PVC external piping in my last house for the wiring. For the new one, I got the interior guys to run the cables through existing ducts + chip the wall and lay the cabling inside the wall.

Was this before the apartment was handed over, because this seems like major work once you've moved in!

I never use wifi for online gaming. Connecting through lan decreased my Apex Legends latency by about 20ms (from 65 to 45 Singapore server). But the best part is no latency fluctuations, no missing frames and no slowdowns. I'd highly suggest getting a wired connection, since you're into Apex.

After handing over. I got my own interior guys to do it. It was pretty major. Took around 2 weeks just for this.

I used to have three Deco E4s to create a decent wi-fi mesh but recently upgraded to two Deco M5 (4 internal antennas vs 2 internal on M4). My main router is Archer C9, it connects to my Deco M5 via ethernet and then both the Deco M5 are interconnected via ethernet backhaul. I just ordered a third one last night to make it more efficient. Works like a charm with my 170 mbps fibre.

SM Ultimate Edition priced at 5k, available for pre-order from tom. Such stupid pricing with SM RM being a download code.
