Streaming wouldn't be the issue, per se. Regardless of what it's streaming at, the input lag would make it unbearable for most people. If the news regarding MS's plan to have Xbox blades in India are true, we're all in for a treat.

The only market that might immediately benefit from xcloud is the Japanese market. Mobile gaming is anyways a big thing there.

India maybe post 2025. Who knows.

Someone (I don't remember who) here was pretty confident xcloud is in testing phase in India as per his friends who work at MS. Not sure how true that is.

Ms also announced they will launch xcloud in india 1 or 2 years ago but then maybe coz of covid it got delayed or maybe they decided to put series x blades which they are doing everywhere.

A quick question on how xcloud works. It’s all about streaming meaning that Starfield can be played in last gen consoles?

Yes. Or mobile/webpage for that matter. The game is running on the server (on Xbox "blades") and can be streamed to any display/system with the ability to connect to an input device like a controller.

Xbox will officially support XCloud on X1.

“For the millions of people who play on Xbox One consoles today, we are looking forward to sharing more about how we will bring many of these next-gen games, such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, to your console through Xbox Cloud Gaming, just like we do with mobile devices, tablets, and browsers,” says Will Tuttle, editor in chief of Microsoft’s Xbox Wire.

Meh cloud gaming

even in smaller tier 2 and 3 cities, people have access to 50-300mbps connections. ₹500 pm gamepass (or ps now) sub can make console gaming super affordable and enable exponential scale up

you should try PS/Xbox remote play, you'd be surprised how well it works

500 per month on gamepass is still a lot when you have f2p games on playstore.

Why do you think indians still resort to piracy on pc when there are alternatives like steam sales, gamepass, gog etc.

Remote play works on local connection and not broadband.

Yes it’s terrible

only way is to have the console connected with Ethernet cable to the router & then phone connected to wifi

That’s the only way it sustainable & that too barely

Original Psychonauts was one of the best games. People just looking at graphics and calling it trash for no reason.

I'm planning to play the original this weekend. Heard really good things.

Psycho 2 was one of my favourite showcase at E3.

Will definitely play it day 1 on GP.

Had first part on steam a few years ago. Couldn't finish it due to keyboard mouse controls. Don't like them for 3rd person games.
