How to start the preload?

It says expected preload is on 17th but nothing happens even after clicking Ok

Strange, pre-load should active by now. Maybe try from the app or restore license.

I like it clean.

I usually save my saves on cloud servers (major use for my PS plus) but I don't know what happened here. I may have forgot to upload or accidently deleted from cloud as well.

Did it, still nothing.

Maybe the PS Plus version of Forbidden West doesn’t support the DLC.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Sony does this.

Edit: It’s an existing issue. Apparently, some people with digital copies can’t initiate the preload

I have the game disc which I used to play the first time, now have the plus version installed. Bought the dlc and it downloaded immediately, no issues

It’s still showing the countdown for me. :nerves:

Not a big issue as the download will only take 5 mins :P

Since Burning Shores has PS5-only performance/quality upgrades, will those upgrades be applied to the base game as well? Or something like that?

Was thinking the same.

If the Burning Shores map is an addition to existing map then probably yes.

If it's a separate map (new area and map like Witcher 3's Blood and Wine) then probably no.

Probably not.

I think this DLC map area will be similar to Iki expansion in GoT, so it’s possible you'd have to fast travel to switch between the maps (only a wild guess).
