Since I'm a huge fan of LOTR my wife gifted me the illustrated edition of Lord of the Rings for our upcoming anniversary. The illustrations were done by J.R.R. Tolkien himself (and not a 3rd party artist), and this is the first time these illustrations have been released36 points

when RPTech blesses you with a second 3080, Its a SIGN Presenting White Dragon !!! And Yes, one cannot have enough of RGB Thanks a ton to Rahim from @Gtek for patiently helping put this together and I highly recommend them for anyone looking to build a PC.. the assemble and wire management work is top notch.. All I did was plug in the GPU and it was ready to go.. I picked the SnowDrop design from their website and asked them to build one in same theme in my budget and bouy they did a top job !! Let's RTX ON !!!33 points

So I got selected as one of the 20 winners in this contest But I couldn't make it to the to top 3 which would've landed me a trip to NY to attend Ubisoft's photo mode exhibition and also a cool laptop :\ Anyway my photo was still displayed at that exhibition, and I get a year of Ubisoft+ subscription The one on the top-left is mine. More photos and a couple of videos here if anyone's interested.31 points

I moved to a new house and completely revamped the game room compared to the previous one I posted last year! I've come a long way since I started this thread 5 years ago. It's been a fun journey. Met lots of people along the way. I think this is my final setup. No energy to go beyond this. Gaming on a 120" screen with 5.1 speakers is really something else. The room is closed with no windows. Proper man cave More close up pics of everything in the following link (contains some old pics from before the projector was setup): https://imgur.com/a/UBZWZsu29 points

a) Go to Comic Con b) Realise you are nearly a 40-year old uncle in a sea of 20-somethings in the entire comic con c) Get awkward and run for a safe nostalgic space to find other uncles d) The space turns out to be Raj Comic booths with both Sanjay and Manish ji chatting and signing copies e) Spend buttloads of money on nostalgia and childhood fantasy f) Profit ?? What's good to see is the old Raj Comics are not just thriving, but with the English translations, the have opened up worlds for new readers (most are still the nostalgia kids though). I do find the compilations confusing, with overlapping stories etc, and the cost is mind boggling expensive for what use to be 7 INR for a paperback, and 15/20 INR for "digests" back in the heydays. The stickers etc are decently done, but the binding of these CEs need work - major work. They don't seem strong to me, and the boxes look good, but "feel" cheap. Anyway, picked up Naagayan CE, with tons of extra stuff, Khajana and Dracula series (some of their best works), Rajnagar ki Tabahi (one of the first Indian comics to mix video games and superheroes) and a bunch of newly written stuff - ofcourse all in Hindi since I just can't read these awesomeness in any other language. I also like what they have done with the limited editions, with embossed lettering etc. Sad to see both the Guptas go their own way - many stories are published by both camps, and it is MEGA CONFUSING what is included in which collected editions. They just made reading a childhood comic 100x more difficult.24 points

An update on Joe Cool. I was able to contact him. He's doing well, he just needs a break from everything to focus on his personal life. He was grateful to be with you all. He might be back to gaming eventually but for now he just wants to be with himself. Gave his regards to everyone here.23 points

My Santa hit the nail on the head: I tried this game LOOOOOONG ago, and realized I suck at rhythm based games. But it has since been on my radar for all the positive reviews over the years. This seals the deal ! Have to give it a go again. The CE is SWEET ! Love the small manual, pin, bandana, steelbook etc. The cover art is SLICK. THANKS A TON, SANTA ! Please reveal yourself.23 points

Got new cabinet, fractal meshify C. High airflow, fun to assemble and classic black beauty with black tempered glass. Dust filters are easy to clean and cable management on the other side is great. After so many years assembled a complete pc from ground up, took lot of hours to place the liquid cpu cooler and everything right. But it was a fun night putting everything together. And pressing that power button for the first time in the end with balls clenched. No wonder pc gaming is so special and a special place in my heart.22 points
