Such a big line for a garden? WTF? Are they out of their minds?

That area is a green zone hence its opening. there are only couple of containment zones in our city which have been shut since beginning. Also, majority of cases in karnataka are coming from other districts where migrant workers arrived from MH, GJ etc.. and not bangalore urban.

Besides, its always been our own responsibility to save ourselves and not the government. So, those who are cautious will stay alive and those who aren't will suffer.

Another 2100 cases in Maharashtra. 2000 is the new average for the day.

Also Bihar in big trouble. They randomly tested 11,800 samples from 7.4 Lakh returnees, and 651 tested positive. All random tests. Imagine the actual count.

KA & BSY,...why? You were doing so well.

This park decision is stupid.
Its open from 7-9 in the morning and 5 to 7 in the evening. If they wanted parks to open they should have kept it open all day and let people come anytime they want, that would have avoided the rush.

Also for people who dont know Lalbagh, its frking huge. Its around 240 acres
The crowd u see is absolutely nothing as whats there on regular days.

6141 cases today for India. And from the new Maharashtra guidelines from 22nd May, almost 90% of Maharashtra will resume working. Pune, which is a f**king red zone with 150+ cases daily has now allowed domestic help, all kinds of shops and 50% of IT staff to resume work. Plans are being made to bring back laborers from other states. Good luck with that.

By 15th June, if states report correct numbers and do proper testing, we will be hitting at least 15k cases per day.

this was bound to happen. It was either die here or die there for the workers and their families.

It would sound controversial but i feel if we could have handled their needs well in the states they were living in we could have controlled the numbers to an extent.

MH is going to sink entire country.

People go out of MH, get tested and turn out to be positive.

Many of the people, like one @Bhpian Bali mentioned, don't even know that they are positive until they get symptoms.

What a clusterfk.

I think it has come to herd-immunity, hopefully it kicks in before rains.

Shops will open. Lot of relaxation is given here in UP. This is such a retarded move considering eid is within a week. Already we have record breaking numbers everyday due to the relaxation and wine shop opening from May 4. Now, people will come to shop and we will have another explosion.

That thing works for shops, not parks.

Even in more normal times, most parks are closed during the afternoon and open only for early morning and evening.

Nobody is going to go to the park in the hot sun. It would still be crowded in the morning and evening only.

Considering that a lot of you live in MH, are you going to go back to work from 22nd May as per MH guidelines?

^ My wife was asked to report today, but the company's transport team messed up somehow. Obviously, she couldn't go as we don't have a vehicle of our own and there's no public transport.

Let's see how it goes tomorrow.

Poor guy was used by CM Jr. before elections to build his image and now being harrassed by the authorities for helping people. Unlike the fake activists, Afroz has been working for the betterment of mumbai (esp beaches and parks) for a long long time. Sad state of affairs in our state.

If the police actually beat up corrupt politicians/their rowdy kids and criminals in this manner, we would have one of the lowest crime rates in the world.

instead, all the force is used to abuse model citizens. Disgusting.
