Too much Hitman. I will tackle only part 3.

Would recommend playing the earlier games. The levels are unexpectedly expansive and the kills are quite satisfying.

Play at a leisurely pace, I was doing about a mission a day, each lasting about an hour

Yeah, heard they all good.

Would like to play em all for sure. Hard drive is loaded with 17 games that need attention too. :(

Yes, more and more staff have left so called AAAA studio. Half of them are core development team.

Gallagher and Neuburger, who were previously studio head and game director at Crystal Dynamics, wanted to make games the way they always had with top-down direction, the sources said, while many Initiative employees were expecting a more bottom-up approach.

As a result, it's claimed that development has progressed "painfully" slow and a solid company culture never formed. All former employees VGC spoke to said they were surprised at how lenient Microsoft had been over the lack of progress.

One person said: "Making games is hard enough, let alone when you feel like you can't get through to people making the decisions that affect everyone".

The culture issue was partly behind the decision to bring onboard Crystal Dynamics, it's claimed, with Gallagher and Neuburger allegedly hoping that production would move more smoothly with the introduction of a second team familiar with their methods.

Crystal Dynamics' introduction is also now likely to plug the gaps left by The Initiative's staff turnover, VGC was told.

Devs tend to leave and join other companies once their contracts done, but Game Director leaving is for sure a big red flag. Initiative was supposed to be the first AAAA studio iirc.

Yes its not going well. This is the main reason why they asked CD to help with project coz Initiative lost lot of people in short period of time.

I don't expect it to come out anytime soon.

Ya it looks like Darren Gallagher didn't like the vision or work of core Initiative team, so he decided to hand over the project to his former studio which rubbed Initiative core team wrong way and they departed. Basically CD now main devs. Initiative will just help them with providing funding as producer for the project  since they part of MS,  but actual development will be done by CD.
